ATTN: Air Conditioning Troubles

Hello everyone,

I am soon going to be overhauling my complete air conditioning system in my 1994 Silverado (Compressor, Accumulator, Orphus Filter) and recharge the system. My email address is [email protected] and I will be more than happy to answer any questions concerning this process. I myself am not an AC specialist, but the gentlemen that I'm working and learning from has over 20 years in Air Conditioning and works with Johnson Space Center (big AC units ). I will take photographs a notes during this process and post them.

 

When I was a memeber of the ZR-1.net forum we used to have a small section that talked about service and upkeep. I see we sorta have something like that here, but maybe its something we could try to do here. Webmasters anyone?? I think stuff like changing trannys, internal motor compenents and such could be kinda cool to have access to. If anyone has any exhaust installs, it would be neat to see pictures and instructions step-by-step here as well. I will start with this AC stuff, but my schedule is keeping me rather busy, so it could be another 4-6 weeks before I can do this. I am also without AC, and also live in South Texas (Houston).
