Considering a Syclone

Hi. I've been lurking here for a while. I currently drive a 94 S10 (reg cab short bed 4x4, 4.3l tbi) and a 94 Corvette LT-1. I have noticed two low mile Syclones for sale in the area and was thinking about buying one to replace my S10 as a daily driver. My question is simple: Am I nuts? What do you all know about them? Thanks.

There are two in my area. Both have 30k miles and claim to be mint. Both are listed at about $15k. I've read the buyer's checklist from the syty.net site. I think I'll take some test drives on Saturday.

That video was kewl!

I've never seen an AWD vehicle do so many donuts. It must have been time to get new tires. The sirens at the end were cool, too.

I Liked that video, it's off of one of our members sites. KCTracing is his Screen name I believe. I'll see if I can dig up a link for you. He's got a ton of videos of various muscle cars, bikes, trucks, etc. at the tracks, doing stunts, and more.

Just a little closure on this topic. I decided not to get a Sy. $9000 plus my perfectly-working S10 are not worth it. After looking in to it, I saw too many 60K mile vehicles with rebuilt engines. I'm banking my money until the Colorado comes out. (I saw it was delayed.) Meanwhile, I'll drive the Vette when I have a need4speed.

i WISH i saw some like that, I would buy my girlfriend one.

try thinking 12,000 for on thats not beat on, and 16,000 for a 25K-40K mile truck. Anything offered $6000-$9000 either has 150,000 miles or hidden problems the owner is not telling.
