2500 hd lift quesion

For those that have lifted the 2500 hd's, what have you done to soften the rear ride?

 

I dont use the truck for anything other than bringing trash to the dump, riding the beach and daily driver. So, I dont need the HD suspension anymore.

 

I was thinking of getting a set of 1500 or 2500 ld leaf springs and then adding another 1/2- 1" of block to help with the sag.

Just take a leaf out and you will have a 2500LD or 1500HD spring pack.

I added rancho 9000's and lowered the setting to 5 in the rear - that helped alot. I also lowered the air pressure (45psi) when I'm running around empty - that helped, too. All in all, it's a pretty good ride, now.

Air bags seem to be an effective solution.
