Programming keyless entry FOB!!!!

Hello, My name is Mike. I was wondering if anyone knew how to reset the computer in a 2000 silverado 1500 so that I can start over in programming my keyless entry remotes. I bought a second one to have has a spare but I must be at the four remote limit and it will not let me program it. I bought the truck used and it only came with one remote so someone else must have used all four. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Here you go

 

 

1. Start with the ignition OFF. Press and hold the power unlock button on the door panel. Turn ignition key ON, OFF, ON, OFF. Release power unlock button. The locks will automatically cycle once to notify that it's in programming mode.

2. Hold down the keyless entry transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 15 seconds. The locks will again cycle once to indicate successful programming for that transmitter.

3. Repeat step #2 for each additional keyless entry transmitter (even if they used to be programmed OK).

4. Turn the ignition ON to exit the programming mode.
