Which Zaino???

I use the package they sell. Start with the Clay bar. Then the Z5 swirl and scratch remover. Then the Z2 polish. Once those are done I rub it down with the spray. Looks beautiful when done. I have only had to clay bar once so far. Have had the Zaino on there for about a year now. Only had to re apply 3 times. I have about 5 coats total on there. I say get the starter package with the ZFX fast dry stuff. Works really well. I hope that helped.

Yeah, the ZFX stuff really helps when you have to wax late in the spring or fall. Can't wait to get home and clean the he!! outta the truck. She needs it, and my stupid @ss left my cleaning crate at home! D'OH!!

Thanks for the suggestions. Guess I'll order up the kit or whatever you all are talking about. Just got a white 2500HD (8.1/Allison) and the clay bar might be a good idea for that color. Been using Mequiars #27 for the last nine years. Have read so much about people loving this Zaino, figured it was worth a try. I wax once a month. Can I still do this with the Zaino or does it build up?

Depending on the color of your truck I would get the following, Z-2 (if you truck is light color) Z-5 (if your truck is a dark color) Z-6, Z-7 and Z-18 Clay Bar. There is a ZKit1 that includes Z-2,Z-5,Z-6,Z-7,Z-18 and ZFX in you want everything.

hcvone,

would you consider pewter a light or a dark color?

I just got zfx, z2, z6, z7, and the claybar, and I drive a dark blue explorer

The products you got will work fine, and you can always use Z-5 down the road, the products are interchangeable, the Z-5 just has better hiding and filling proporties than Z-2 does, and on dark color cars and trucks Z-5 would probably be a better choice, of course using both products as you need them will give you the best of both worlds.
