Trailer question

We are considering buying a 28ft enclosed racecar trailer to replace our 24ft trailer. I was wondering what kind/how much of difference we could see in MPG between a normal trailer, a V-neck trailer, and a trailer with the bubble on the front of it like some semi's have. We were also wondering how big of a difference putting a wing on our truck would make in MPG. Our truck is a 95 2500LD with a 350. It's ex cab, short bed. Thanks in advance for any help guys.

If you could live with the goofy space in the v-neck it would help your drag resistance a great deal.... if you want to put a cap on your truck that is the bump up style that gets about a foot higher than the roof of your truck, that would help the draft flow to the trailer. A trailer bubble only works the best when there isn't much gap between the truck with cap or wind board and the trailer roofs. Anything to even out the truck and the trailer heights to create a smooth flow over your rig would help your mpg~
