Factory Running Boards / Assis Steps

I am taking delivery of a 2002 Envoy SLE next week. I originally wanted the factory running board option becuase I thought they looked pretty good and would help protect the sides of the truck. In order to take advantage of GM's current finance rate, instead of ordering a 2003 my dealer, also my father, found me a 2002. It has everything I wanted in it, except the boards. So now the question is, do I still order the GM boards, get aftermarket ones, or scrap them all together. Do any of you Envoy/Trailblazer/Bravada owners have any pro's and con's of the factory boards.

I switched my factory ones to aftermarket ones, so if you're looking for a set of factory boards I'm selling them

No thanks. My Dad is a dealer. I got the truck in July and he just added the boards for me. I think they look pretty good. You should have no trouble selling them.
