Pristine condition,

2004 Factory GM 6 disc, RDS/ XM ready radio. This unit will have to be programmed by your local gm dealer, as the theft protection requires your vin number to be matched to the unit. My local dealer is charging $48.00. This is the same unit found in Suburban's,Tahoes, Yukons and Hummer's and maybe more. I will email pics to interested parties. Best Offer- email [email protected]

The following has been added to counter some erroneous comments stated by user msnyder.

****It would be nice if the people who comment know what they are talking about prior to adding there own two cents. This radio will work in the above stated vehicles as a direct replacement, THE XM WILL WORK, IF YOU HAVE AN XM RECEIVER, THIS IS PER GM AND XM. IT IS XM READY!! As I mentioned originally the theftlock will have to be programmed by your local GM dealer to learn the vin # of the new vehicle. This is not a stolen radio and there will be no problems. If you have any questions email me direct.

I have heard that XM will refuse to activate a unit that has be moved from on vehicle to another. Something about the Radio ID must be paired with the VIN... If interested you might check with XM before purchasing...

But for 40.00 the Dealer can reprogram the radio to work in your vehicle unless the radio came from a different class of auto, like an olds or buick car. I ran into htis problem and had to purchase a radio from the dealer

There is an aftermarket interface that WILL work with the factory head unit. You can then utilize a Pioneer XM Controller.

I have it and it works great it's made by Soundgate

Actually, I have one of these--with box and all the goodies. I bought it forgetting that my stock GM radio doesn't have .MP3 and I need an aftermarket radio to have that feature and the XM satellite ability. If anyone is interested in purchasing the SoundGate, please PM me.

The radio will work, just not the XM portion.

XMSnyder, Using the Soundgate, you will need to utilize a XM controller. You are correct in saying that it won't work, and I should of clarified my statement

I purchase the six disc radio from GM

I purchase the Soundgate and the Pioneer XM Controller.

I now have XM1 but not XM2 so I am limited to 6 Presets.

One issue is that anytime the Dealer connects with a Tech II or I connect with my Hypertech I My XM is shut off. I will then need to unplug the soundgate and plug it back in.

A minor inconvience

Dude, don't get bent out of shape. I never implied that it was stolen, I just misread your post and though it had the GM integrated XM, which will not work if you move it from the original vehicle...

my bad.
