Thats too funny. I was at a shoot with Chevy and at the time they were promoting our new Duramax, they decided to shoot a pull off between the Ford and the Chevy since Ford has always used us to promote there superdutys but one of the directors who was shooting it decided "Why not haul the super duty and our theme was (why compete with the competition when you can haul it)" i guarantee that would've got great reviews especially towards the buyer's decision, but they didnt get it done in time for the promotion so they used the same commerical they used to promote the first Duramax intro when a 3500HD dually hauls a 7000lb trailer up the hill, GM still has the clip maybe one of these days they will show it.

 

The review Ford did for that pic of the new 05 superduty was a complete hassel off, they knew our new Duramax and Allison would've beat there baby stroke diesel especailly the Cummins 600 but they couldn't take the chance of losing this one, but what ford should've done was invite General Motors and Daimler Chrylser to compete against them at there proving grounds and show what there truck's are made of, the drivers driving those other two were part of the Ford Division so they couldnt make the Chevy and the Dodge beat the Ford it was there job to make the Ford win, but GM guys shouldn't be put down on this Ford does this all the time but again never learn from it, example look at the F-150 all those test being done on the new truck saying it can do this and that and in the end they had to be recalled for failure not living up to what the commerical said.
