Avalanche Midgate rattle

My Avalanche is a very tight vehicle, except I here either the back seat or midgate bar rattle when I go over ruff pavements. I would like to resolve this problem. Is anyone else experiencing this phenomena. I think it is the back of the seat hitting against the midgate or the midgate bar itself rattling in place.

Mine has no rattles at all on any kind of road.  I wonder if you midgate isn't shut tight.  It seems that the owner's manual said to shut it firmly.  You might try opening and shutting it pretty hard to make sure it's tight.  Could also be something with the back window maybe so make sure that is tight.  That's all I could think of that might be causing it.

I had what I though was rattling glass and it turned out to be a loose piece of the vinyl covering inside my right wheel well. You might want to inspect it closely since you're problem sounds a lot like mine and undoubtedly, the same idiot who attached mine did yours too. Shoddy workmanship. I ordered a replacement piece 2 1/2 months ago and I'm still waiting.

Thats really too bad!

I'd be more than willing to put a "customer comments" section in the Avalanche review for you to voice your concern.

Just shoot an email over to [email protected] with whatever you'd like to say.
