Anyone using the 8.1 Kenne Bell supercharger?

I'm probably going to put a supercharger on my Silverado HD. The intercooled Whipple has been working VERY well on my Suburban so that is being considered. Vortech's kit isn't available for the 2002s yet so I probably won't be going that route. Kenne Bell's kit seems to be quiet a bit different than the Whipple. They upgrade all of the injectors instead of putting 2 in front of the intake. They also don't have the piggy back callibration that the Whipple uses so this may be another plus.

Anyone using one of these on an 8.1 (or other motor)? If so, what do you think and how loud is it?

Thanks,

Tom

I am very interested in the Kenne Bell Kit but they say they don't offer it for the trucks because they cannot reprogram the Allison. I wonder if Westers could do the reflash instead of Kenne Bell. I know of people who have had Westers reflash for their Whipple kits for the trucks and have had no problems with the Allison. Any info would be great..... Thanks
