Elk Calls

It's getting close to that time of year again!!!! How many of you guys call in your elks and what do you use? I want to start calling but don't know what to get.

I heard the Hoochie Moma call works pretty good.

That's why I'm asking the question. There are so many different types and manufactures at Cabela's I got confused.

This one time i was out elk hunting, and at the lodge i ate this well done bison steak and as soon as i got done chowing, i went out again to fill in my elk tag and all of a sudden i got the urge to burp and when did, out about 100 yards comes this big 11 pointer Bull elk after a couple minutes of watching him, i got him down in one shot with my 280 Winchester and he dropped like a sack of potatoes. Sometimes its good to burp in a good monster elk cause thats what they sound like! hope that helps
