Pro Comp X-Terrain

Recommended Posts

I need some new tires on my Z. Right now i have Mastercraft Courser C/T and have been an excellent tire. I would like to put Pro Comp's X-Terrain 285/75R16 on but I would like some feedback first like mileage wear, etc.

Any feedback will be appreciated greatly!

I've had a set on my HD for about 2000 miles so I can't comment on wear. They are louder than the Nitto Terragrapplers that I was running before. People won't hear the truck before they see it but you'll notice that they hum a little. One other thing is that you can feel the blocks in the tires at about 5 MPH or less. I'd use them again.

I've got over 10K miles on mine since March. Love them. They haven't worn a bit and ride smooth. I had the ProComp Mud Terrain's before and got 65K miles on them, you can see them in my sig at my Webshots album. I sold them for $200 and bought the X-terrain's. I will probably never buy any other brand of Mud tire, I've owned them all (from my offroading days in my Toyota), but these are by far better than the others. Chris
