Anyone get their 04 factory service manual

Anyone receive their 04 service manual yet. I am looking for the part number for a drivers door panel in dark pewter or graphite whatever the dark gray is. I had my name on the list but Helm must have sold out already. Thanks

Received this e-mail from Helm a few days ago:

 

"The manual will be available to order sometime mid-August:

$135.00 GMT04CK8PU 2004 Silverado, Sierra, and Sierra Denali CK8-Platform Service Manual Set "

 

Wheee!!!!!

 

I'd heard that Helm was gonna' start releasing the info on the $300 CD-ROMs only and forego the printed manuals.

 

Appears that was just a rumor.

Actually, Helm does have the service manuals on CDROM. It covers everything GM from 1998-2004 and some 2005 models. It is $300 on 7 CDs. I've had mine since March and just got the newest release a couple weeks ago. And I confirm that there are no part numbers in the manuals unless it is something covered by TSBs.

I ordered and received the set for Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Avalanche back in June.

As other said, definitely no part numbers.

 

Anybody know of a source for these? Really nice to have. I have the parts fiche for all my motorcycles, and even have found them online. Also, have been lucky to find some online in PDF form for our Jeep Cherokee and Dodge Ram. Would love to have one for the Yukon.

Thanks for the info. about no prat numbers. I think I still want the service manual though. As far as part numbers go, do the CDroms contain part numbers? Body shops must need this info. what do they buy? Thanks

No part numbers in the CD roms either, except for some of the TSBs. The body shops have a estimate manual they use. These usually have most of the part numbers in them.
