I slipped and fell and got a new muffler.

 

Single in, single out....Just had it put in place of the stocker.

 

It sounds awesome. Very little drone, (that's only at very specific RPM ranges), and the radio drowns it out very easily.

 

Don't know about mileage yet, I won't be able to check it again until next week.

I still can't decide whitch system im gonna go with. I'm got a set of afterburner headers just have to pick up some high flow cats, and a crossover pipe but I cant decide whitch mufflers I want I could care less about my gas mileage I just want power.

I would go wit the magnaflow system i have and its great. But in my case it gives me worse gas milage cause i always want to show off. But if drivin the right way it should in prove gas milage...

Let me just say....i am a boob .... i have an 04 silverado ext cab 5.3L.....i wanted to hear a nice exhaust tone....so i listened to the guys at Midas .......i tried two of their mufflers....way too loud.....way to much drone....sounded great under acceleration...but couldnt hear anything from 18-22 rpms except my teeth rattle .......could not wait to get it off the truck.....i finally wised up and read a few testimonials from guys on here about magnaflow ....i bought part number 12589....single in single out.....changed the tip....and wow its great.....very quiet at idle......almost no drone whatsoever.....but sounds great under acceleration......very very pleased.....wish i had done this $375.00 ago!!!!!
