Leveling Kits

Ok, I've seen several sites that offer 99+ IFS Leveling kits. They claim to not adversly affect the suspension setup, and cause minimal ride change vs. turning up stock keys. I take it that these kits are just replacement TBar Keys with a different offset that gives more lift at the stock setting w/o the need to turn them up all the way. I've noticed on my 04 Sierra EC Z71 that there's not room to turn the TBars up any further, they seem to be turned up all the way from the factory or something. I'm wanting to level out my truck. I got the 285/70/17 MTRs installed on my truck and they're nice and make the truck look better. I got a full 1 inch lift out of the tires on all four corners. Went from 36" Front to 37" front at the top of the fender, and 38" Rear to 39" at the top of the fender. I want to put the Front up to 39" to match the rear, and these kits say they can give 2" front to level it out with the rear. Anyone had any experience with these?

Wow, all those views, and nobody knows? Has anyone here used one of the leveling kits? or did you all just buy the keys separately and go that route.

Well, a lot of folks know, just that the subject has been pounded to death through the years on this board.

The search feature will bring in messages upon messages about folks' experiences.

Basically, the ride can suffer. All the keys do is change the angle of the lever that nudges against the adjuster bolt. Therefore you get more "crankability" from your adjuster bolts.

That's it. There have been varying opinions on whether the ride suffers, although one of the trucks I rode in that had this done, the poor pickup felt like it had no shocks or springs. But, the truck "looked awesome".
