How do the pillar moldings come off

Hello all, I need to run some wires to my mirror and was wondering has anyone pulled the moldings off the windshield pillars? I don't want to break them like I did my door panel Thanks

Just get a finger or two behind them and yank. Be easy though, but they will come off. The bottom of the pillar cover snaps into part of the dash so keep that in mind when you put it back in and pull it out.
