Predator - can only program for tire height?

Using a Predator can ONLY the tire height/speedo correction be installed without the tune? I went thru the menus but it looks like the only programming option is "Install Tune".

I sent an email to the company Granatelli (sp?) asking that very thing. Seems they must be selling lots of them, because their customer service stinks. There is no phone number listed, only email address, and they don't answer them. I have a predator that I used on my last truck and I did the tune and the tire size change. I never tried to do just the tire change. They want 250 bucks to re-flash the predator so I can use it on my new truck, but I don't want to run 91 octane. I just want to adjust for my 35" tires. If I ever get an answer from them I will post it.

To answer your question: yes, you can program for tires without loading a tune. At least you can with the Diablow for the Duramax.

 

From what I’ve experienced, Diablow's "customer service" is absolutely terrible. My Predator is a POS, and unfortunately, it's locked to my truck's VIN. I only use it now to clear codes.

my predator tune is badass. I have a custom tune by Johan at diablosport.com at it's really hot, even more when you're in performance mode. To only change tire size you just go to modify performance and it will change it.
