91 C1500 wiring question

Looking through owner's manual it shows DRLs for northern version. Are they wired the same and a relay left out? In doing the high four on 01 Tahoe all you do is ground the yellow wire at the low beam connectors, is there a similar easy fix to do this with the 91? I bought the Stylin Concepts diode but am not sure whether it is the best way to get high four. Surely someone here has crossed this issue. Thanks in advance!

If you want DRLS, all you have to do is wire a Realy so that the lights come on when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

I figured that but I was wondering that since the Canadian spec had them that the wiring might be there and it would be just a plug-in. The repair manual does not show in enough detail for me to figure it out. I do have an aftermarket kit but would rather plug in one relay rather than run a bunch of wires and scotchlocks. Thanks, Bob

Ok, I am a little confused here.

Do you want 4 lights on bright or DRLS?

There is no wiring for it in the original harness, you will have to add both.

Sorry, did not mean to confuse. Actually looking to do both but if done right as DRL they would be on when high beams are on. I was trying to find out if the wiring harness was the same for either country spec and if it was just a relay omited for the US one. I realize that if that were the case they would not go four high. On the Tahoe the ground is switched by the dimmer relay and it is easy to tap and have four high.
