2004 Ext. Cab - Needs More Bass

I just bought a 2004 1500 Silverado LT ext. cab. It has the Bose 6-disc changer. What can I add/change to get a little more bass? My wife's Trailblazer also has the Bose system and seems to have a deeper more powerful sub-woofer.

What some people have done is actually swap out the BOSE sub with something better. Even though it says BOSE on it....dont assume its any good. Replace it with something better and it will help. Also consider adding some quality components in the front doors, replacing your stock speakers. This will add great mid-bass response and better overall imaging to your system.

A buddy of mine has a 2004 GTO. He wanted more bass, so he went about building a custom fiberglass box. As he was dynomatting the trunck, and after building the box, he found the existing subs and amp. He said that the gain was turned all the way down on the amp, so he turned it up. The difference was amazing. He didn't put the fiberglass box or sub in.

I purchased an Infinity Basslink to give me the bass that I was missing. Fits perfectly under the extended cab rear seat.

Anyone know where the amp is my Silverado? Is the sub located in the center console? If so, would the Basslink swap out with it?
