What spare parts do you keep onhand for your vehicle(s)

 

I got to thinking I wondering if anyone else is like me. My closet and garage is exploding with vehicle parts/tools

 

Right now I have:

 

10 - PF-59 Oil Filters (bought a 12 pk.)

3 - Fuel Filters (1 for each: Silverado, blazer, impala)

3 - PCV Valves (1 for each: Silverado, blazer, impala)

2 - Transmission Filters (1 for each: Silverado & impala)

1 - trans pan gasket for the truck

1 - trans drain plug for the truck

2 - 893 Silverstar Fog Light bulbs

? - various sylvania bulbs (3157, 1157, etc.)

8 - bosch spark plugs

1 - Set front brake pads for my truck

1 - Set rims/tires

12 - Qts of Trans Fluid

1 - optima battery

1 - pass side mirror for my truck

1 - set of Nerf Bars (trying to sell)

1 - Instrumet cluster trim/plastic cover (minus gauges) for the impala

 

Probably more I am forgeting. I could open a parts store haha

8 qts Dexron III atf

1 qt blue autotrak transfer case fluid

1 qt GM 75w-90 gear oil

8 AC Platinum spark plugs (originals I removed - were in good shape)

8 NGK TR55 spark plugs

1 set of OEM spark plug wires (originals I removed)

1 steel rear diff cover

2 antenna masts

2 sets of old wiper blades

abundance of valve stem caps (plastic, chrome,etc.)

1 Original air intake minus 1 rubber gasket

1 Original cat-back exhaust minus rubber hangers (looking to sell, been too lazy to do it)

Possibly original exhaust manifolds

Original grille bowtie

Original tailgate handle bezel

1 set of Optix head lt bulbs, hi & lo beams (didn't seem to project very far and I didn't like the blue look)

4 skull and crossbone license plate bolts (replace every other year after winter)

1 original oil filler cap (now have Corvette Mobil1 5w-30 cap on there)

 

Multitude of parts I must find time to install:

Cam, springs, pushrods and all related gaskets (info in sig)

'02 6.0 24.7 lb injectors & o-rings

B&M Shift Improver Kit

Corvette Servo

 

Various Toyota tune-up parts for Wife and Mother's cars (03 Matrix, 99 4cyl Solara)

New items for the list

As of this afternoon, just added 1 set of valve springs, retainers, and locks (well, dropped one lock into the black hole that opens under my truck when I work on it), and factory pushrods....finally started my cam install this afternoon. Tough to do in a tight garage in a Town House complex where you're not allowed to do heavy repair work...all they'll let you do is jump your battery...so here's me pushin my truck into a spot for the evening (doesn't fit completely in the garage, so had to button it up for the night and park it---repairs will resume approx 10:00 am tomorrow). Anyway, left a nice trail with a couple of pools of coolant from my garage to where it's parked now...not too suspicious right? Hope to get the cam in tomorrow and see what this thing can do! Then I can add factory camshaft to the list...gotta keep that, never know when an intruder my wander into your garage and you can't find a big pry bar to wollop him with...cam will do LOL. If I get done soon enough, I'll try to locate the black hole that swallowed my keeper(valve lock)...I hate not having complete sets, even if I'm not gonna use em.
