Westers tune and Gas milage.

Hey guys - Just wondering what you have experienced with gas milage after your Westers tune was installed ??

 

Now that I have had the new 265 Revos on for a few tanks - I am getting 13.5mpg - This is a combo of city and highway.

 

This is a little bit better then I was getting with stock tune and 245's. Pretty happy seeing that I have alot more S.O.T.P power with the same kind of milage.

 

FWIW - I have the 89-93 dual tune.

I gained about 1.2mpg highway...along with a big grin from the increase in performance!

I'm about to order a Westers for my '00 5.7 K2500 Crew. After talking to him, I decided to go w/the 93 tune. HOWEVER, what is the dual tune? I didn't ask him, but should have.

About 1mpg here as well.

Nothing else I've done thus far has made a bit of difference milage wise other than Westers...and more power to boot!

I got about 1-1.5 increase around town with my Wester's 93 Hot tune.

 

I don't think the dual octane tunes are available for the 5.7 but you should ask Lyndon about it!

I'm about 1 mpg better. Towing seems to be more because I can't seem to get less than 10 mpg no matter what or how fast I tow.

Dual tunes aren't possible with the 5.7's. I asked, can't do. I got about 1.5-2mpg increase with my tune (89 octane). Chris
