I installed headers & a catback system on a 03 hummer w/6.0 and it made only very little difference in performance , also the borla catback did not change sound very much and the borla changes it to a dual outlet with smaller dia. pipes than factory. Definetly not worth the money.

Modern exhaust manifold designs pretty good, on a stock engine reducing the backpressure in the exhaust will yeild the most bang for the buck. These engines are more flow limited by the intake components. Only after full intake mods (intake, MAF, and throttle) and then a performance cam would headers be worth the money.
