Faceplate removal

I have an 01 Z71 that I need to pull the CD/Radio out. Can someone tell me how to get the main black faceplate off around the CD/Radio, AC/Heater area?

I have an 01 Z71 that I need to pull the CD/Radio out.  Can someone tell me how to get the main black faceplate off around the CD/Radio, AC/Heater area?

the ENTIRE front of dash comes off... Tilt down the wheel, put Gear selecter in 1 (foot on brake here ) and pull the entire trim off... From the FAR left all to the right that whole thing is 1 peice.

 

Snaps out, and radio snaps out too...need no tools!
