2004 z71 tahoe a/c knobs

folks with 2004 z71 tahoe, on your front a/c controls r they knobs or levers ???

The manual dual zone temp controls are levers (that's what we have) The auto dual zone temp controls are knobs.

Nope, I've got the auto climate control on my '04. As far as I know, it's part of the up-level trim package (I have an LT).

For '04 the Z71 Tahoe got the auto A/C as part of the sunroof package only. Otherwise you get only the manual.

That's strange cause in 02 you couldn't get the auto with the sunroof

I don't think the 02's had the auto option, 03 was the first year for it at least in the trucks.

Tahoes had it as an option since 2000 I think. My uncle has a 2001 with the auto climate control.

 

Tahoes and Suburbans typically get options a few years ahead of trucks.

I will clear up this confusion.........the 00-02 Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, and Escalade could have automatic climate control........but not the digital readout like, on the 03-05 trucks. IMO the digital looks much classier than the knobs. I have digital in my 04 Silverado, and I think it was just a stand alone option.
