For those of you running CB's...is there any way of "tuning" or improving the performance of thru-glass CB antennas?? I am not transmitting that well, I have not put a meter on it though. Is there any way of grounding the antenna, or putting a signal booster in-line?? Any help is appreciated...I wasn't sure where to post this, hope its in the right spot. Thanks. :chevy:

Do you have the instructions for the antenna? They may have a procedure for SWR adjustment.....or see if you can find the manufacturers name on it and see if they have any info on the web....just a thought

dont expect much outta those type of antennas. you need to get a hard mount

stand alone antenna like a firestick/k-40/or even a wilson magmount to get better

performance
