The blazer too?

I have a 1996 GMC 2500 p/u that I just replaced the intake manifold gasket and the water pump on. I finally got it time and dialed in yesterday. Today my wife tells me her blazer is leaking. I go out and find the same d**n thing that I saw on my truck.

Looks like a leaking intake manifold. It is a 1996 Chev s-10 blazer. It is 2 wheel drive and has the 4.3 liter v-6. I've got coolant dripping from underneath the engine. It is leaking in front and in back. My water pump has weap holes on the top and the bottom. Both are bone dry. I cannot see any hoses leaking at all.

For all you experts....... IS YOUR MONEY ON THE INTAKE MANIFOLD OR SHOULD I LOOK AT SOMETHING ELSE TOO? This was a terribly common problem on my truck which almost made it seem obvious. Does this motor suffer from the same idisynchracy?

ALSO If I do have to replace the intake manifold gaskets do I need upper and lower gaskets or are they the same set?

Okay, now I don't believe this. The Blazer is done and is still leaking....a lot....

I'm now thinking either a soft plug at the back of the engine or a head gasket. I had a heater core go out and then another went out 11 mos later. The mechanic told me the cause was electrolysis. Now I'm wondering if this same "electrolysis" has coroded a soft plug.

I don't know what to do now other than maybe have a shop do a pressure test to locate the leak. Any ideas? It's coming out so fast that I can't even think about driving it.....
