My dad an I installed the transgo shift kit in my s10( 4L60e). It went in fine and I ran it through the gears up on jack stands an it shifted like it should. Well I took it out for a test run an again it shifted like it should. Well later that night I went out and on my way home it wouldnt shift out off first gear it seems. So I drove it home I live like 2min form were I was an parked it for the night. I went out in the morning and it shifted for a couple of blocks an then it feels like it drops out of high gear into first and wont shift up. An then I tryed it again 30min later and it shifted fine for probably 10-15 min then I went home and parked it and it was fine. But again it dos not want to shift I dont know whats wrong and anyone with any info please help.

Well it's been a while since I installed one of those kit's, but there are some things you can do.

I am going to presume that theshift points on your trans are controlled electronically.

If you haven't done it already I might disconnect the battery for a bit to let the onboard computer adjust to the new parameters for the kit.

Secondly if this doesn't work I would suggest pulling the valve body out and double checking that everything was installed as required. Sometimes things move inintentionally during reinstallation.

Hope this helps.
