Another Fog ??

I have read most of the fog light posts, but I was wondering if someone could give me an answer. I have installed everything but plugging the wire into the BCM. I looked at the directions and I can't figure out where to plug the wire in. It looks like the directions are for the 99-02 type fog lights. Is the BCM the same? If so why does mine look different then the directions? If they would sya the green plug or the red plug that would help. The last thing is can someone tell me for sure that on the 2004 silverado's I do not have to flash the computer. I have been told two things, yes you do have to and no you don't. Can someone tell me for sure. Thanks

Have you looked for 04 instructions. I know my plow wire was dif from 02 to 04 I think GM did a rewire system in 03. Sorry can't help on your fogs.

If the 04 is the same as the 03 it's the wire with the gray plastic cover(see yellow arrow).

Almost forgot your second question. Mine worked as soon as I installed them, did not need to get the BCM flashed.

You may get lucky, as I did, and find the wires already there I have an 04 Sierra and the wires and plugs were already installed, all I had to do was plug them in and they worked.

Thaks to all who replied to this post. I was able to plug the wire in tonight and, they work great. Again thanks. As for the wifes Equinox, We love it. We got about 4 inches of snow today, and she pulled through like a champ. As for everything else we have had no problems so for(knock on wood). I would recommend this car to anyone.
