A4 removal tips needed.

Going to remove the A4 in my truck and install a high stall torque converter myself. Anyone done this install and have some hot tips to share? Have been told that GM glues the connection in place on the nuetral safety swith, but have not seen anything about the best way to remove it without damaging the switch. Thanks in advance for your help. :D
