Im back in action

Well after a few years and a couple Vette's later im back, traded the wifes ford explorer (been trying to get rid of it forever) in for a 05 silver Z71 colorado 4x4. Very well build truck, im glad to be back on the forum with everyone, now its time for the wife to dish out the cash for mods for the truck so i can continue to mod the 04 Z.

  I think GM even offers a remote start accessory kit after sale. Requires programming from the service dept, but you get factory remote fobs and everything. Bug the sales guy and see if he'll find a way to include one to seal the deal? Power seats... I have no experience here, but the OE seats will have airbags so I'd be less inclined to go monkeying with modifications or trying to swap in a power unit from a higher trim. I love standard cabs. I'd have a V8, manual 4x4 if they offered one. My crew cab is my Swiss Army Knife of vehicles...it does truck things, it's comfortable on long trips, it carries extra adults in comfort, and it has room for keeping cargo in the cab when it's just the two of us. Fullsize crews are the modern fullsize car or wagon of 40-50 years ago and IMO they offer more versatility than a fullsize SUV like a Tahoe or Burb because of the bed.

  It's only value would be in scrap metal. No one is going to buy a rear diff that needs new guts. The scrap metal value in my area is $200 a ton so it might be worth $10

  Removed sons rear diff due to loud howling noise going down highway. got different diff and replaced it. Want to get rid of this from my yard. What years does tihs fit 99-07 classic? GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado 1500 I assume. What something like this worth if listing to say FB or other locations online to get rid of? Gotta be worth something I would assume. thanks for input
