There is a 1997 3500 it was in a deep flood what could be wrong im thinking it doesnt run beacuse it is only 4700 what do You guys think...

And would it be an easy fix ....

And do I have to apply for a R-title

The motor could be completely trashed.

Don't know about the rebuilt title...Kind of depends on who has it now, and how they have it titled...And what your state laws are, I would imagine.

I wouldn't be as concerned about the rust. Its the electrical system thats going to be totally shot. Motor, and tranny should most likely be rebuilt. The newer bodies hold up pretty well. IMO

I'd stay away from it. Who knows how long it was under water. Whatever you pour into repairing it will immediately depreciate because it was once flooded. Just watch the insurance company do the math if your repaired truck gets stolen or damaged.

Where is it located? I will buy it if you don't. R title or not that is a good deal for that truck. Wiring harnesses are a dime a dozen as are eng/trans combos, anyhow in this area they are.
