Conoco oil

I've never used it. You might try the forum at "bobistheoilguy.com". Conoco as an oil company has been around for years. They merged with Phillips 66 and recently bought the '76' brand refining and marketing operations on the West coast.

The only reason I ask is because the local shop where I get my oil changed at carries conoco oil. And instead of waiting for them to go get the oil that I want at the local o'reilley shop I rather just go with theirs. The reason I dont use synthetic is because I have used dino oil since I first owned it.

For what it's worth to you, my opinion on oils is to ignore the marketing hype and look at the SAE ratings to tell me how good it is. For example, Heavy duty means nothing to me these days....

If you have a spark ignition engine (S), the ratings start with SA (lowest quality) to SL (the best I've seen so far). The higher alphabetical letter the better it is. I've seen recycled and non detergent oil labeled as SA and SB.

If you have a compression ignition or diesel engine ( C ), you've got the same scale starting with CA, CD, etc. There are further ratings listed for diesel oil as well that I'm unfamiliar with.
