Suburban with new pickup front clip

I saw a black 1/2 ton suburban the other day with a Chev pickup/Avalanche front clip. Didn't look too bad. I don't understand why the General hasn't gone to it yet.

Yeah I saw one in Mexico this past fall. Looked pretty good. I think im one of the few that actually likes the new front clips though.

I would buy a Suburban no problem if it had this front clip. (just not into the whole cadilalc thing...)

I have to admit I didn't care for the new font ends when they came out but know that I own one and have a billet grill and a new bowtie it looks TOUGH! I like the burban with them alot

The Tahoe's, Suburbans, Yukon's that where made for export to Mexico have had the 03-05 truck front end on them since mid 04, but only the Mexican ones.

I think GM doesn't sell them in the USA because they know that the design isn't really a proven sucess and chances are people would probably go with the Expedition which has better lines.

Classic Chevy in Grapevine, Tx has several of the Burbs with the new front ends on the lot...

I still prefer the 99-02 front clip over the one on my '04, but now that I've had it for a few months the look has grown on me enough that I find it a bit attractive instead of downright ugly (like I did when I first saw them). Adding a smoked bug shield that softens the look of the angry hood / headlight lines a bit probably has helped some though.

I have the two front clips in my garage every nite, so I compare constantly.

I liked the 99-02 clips better untill I got my '04 lanche (WBH=silvy front clip). Now it is about a wash. The bugshield helped tremendously!!!! I have a punch grill coming today (the denali style) and I think that it will push me over to the '04 being my favorite of the two I own. Just looks more bad*ss, 'specially with the front leveled out and the 17" wheels. People DO get the heck outa my way when I show up in their mirror.
