is there anyone out there who has one of these covers can you tell me the quality and the overall performance of the cover.

I have one. Installed it not too long ago. The gas struts are still not brokem in yet so it is still hard to push initially. Other than that it works as advertised.

Ive been reading on the F1 Forums that it needs pretty much the whole of the

front of the bed to be clear to allow the mechanism to work. This means that if you store anything in the bed while the cover is closed you need to crawl in and pull the load clear of the panels when they are opening. Other things ive heard is that you can't lock it in any position due to the lock be positioned close to the cab and the rubber seals soon deteriorate and leak. Any truth in this?

I am looking for a secure tonneau which gives access to the bed - and frankly speaking its a minefield trying to find the right one. After having my tailgate stolen security is my #1 then i need access to the bed, and i would like something that looks good and performs well. I dont think there is a "perfect" tonneau - fold-a-cover seems to be a good compromise.
