Spliting Up This Forum

It said to come in here and tell how the forum should be split. I think the '88 to '98 trucks should have their own, then the older ones should have their own.

I'd tend to agree with that thought since the 88-98's are all about the same.

I know 60-66 and 67-72 are "families" as well. Is 73-87 all of the same style (+/-)? Wow, 14 years...

Yeah, the 73-87 were all the same style. It's funny, cause now a truck style won't last much longer than 5 years.

I think that the OBS should be a part of the 99 and up sectiuon and the "real Classisc" should have their own. I miss my buds from the old format.

I'd be all for a '72 & older forum, a 73-87 forum and do what you want with an OBS forum. 73-87 are roughtly the same, but they have near nothing in common with the earlier trucks

I think not because NBS and OBS trucks share little in design, interior and engine. and they should be split up from the 73 to 87 models too as they share littel with them too but it could confuse some posting threads maybe. Personally I would place the OBS above the NBS becaue they ar generally more truck like than the NBS models and they seem to get less like trucks with every new revision. I do not know what I will buy if I need a new work truck in a few year as I may have to look at a ford at the rate things are going on the GM side.

Keep in mind that the Suburbans did not change until '92. I have a 1991 Suburban and agree that there should be a a Classic cut-off of '88 for pick-ups and '91 for Subs.

I wish we had a generation system like corvettes or camaros do on their sites. Then somebody wouldn't have to ask 99 OBS or NBS everytime somebody posts about a 99. Same thing with the 88-91 Burbs and Blazers (oh and don't forget Crew cabs)
