Hi guys ! , I am new , and i just picked up a new ( new to me )  98 chevy 1500 , extcab, swb, stepside , 350 , auto , and 3.42 rear , with the G80 limited slip option,  I was wondering , what this thing should run in the quartermile or 0 to 60 ? , it all stock right now . thanks....98step

In regards to your trucks performance,you are probably looking at anywhere from and upper 15-middle 16 second quarter mile time with a 0-60 time of around the 8-9 second range.

Those numbers are just my guesstimation with the 255/340(?) ratingd the Vortec 5.7 had from the factory and that's also assuming it's in very good runnig condition.

Thats about what I thought , low 16's  and 8 to 9 sec on the 0 to 60 ,  my old TBi 350  powered chevy 1500 extcab  was running about 9 flat 0 to 60 .
