Glow Plug over ride kit for 6.5TD

I replaced my glow plugs about year and half ago with "quick heat glow plugs".

It seemed to me that the factory controller was bit to short time wise in the real cold we get here in Montana to start as well as the old 9-g glow plugs. Well I ordered the kit for the over ride from SS Diesel. The price was fair, quaility good and shipping good. Instructions where easy to understand. The only short coming I had with the kit was one of the wires could have stood to be about 6-8 inches longer for easier routing in the location I mounted the button. It works good while we haven't had below zero since I installed it we have had temps in the 20's and it works great.

 

my rating for SS Diesel and there kit would be 8.5 PSI of boost pressure out of 10 PSI.
