Caterpillar 3126

I have a 2003 GMC 6500 Medium Duty wrecker with a caterpillar 3126 diesel engine. I am having the weirdest problem with it not starting some times.

you never know when and if it will start and not start. Many people have looked at it and found nothing. Sometimes its in the summer and in the winter. After you have been driving it and some times when you first start it in the morning. Any one have any ideas or similar problems. The iginition was replaced as a recall.

But it still does this occasionally. Not all the time. Maybe once a month or so.

If you leave it for a hour it will start again. Or some times it starts for another person. just plain weird!!

Might be some injector pump issues.

Might check the fuel cutoff control/solenoid in pump too.

If i remember right it's computer controled. Any codes?
