EGR Fender Flares

I'm looking at getting some EGR fender flares, but I was wanting to know if they're the same design as the OEM flares? I couldn't tell from the pics. Thanks!

Well I was hoping for some response, but it doesn't really matter anymore. I found a full set of EGR brand fender flares for my truck on ebay that I couldn't pass on. They're NIB and painted pewter also. Shipped price was $225. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that everything is true. They'd better not be flat black when I get them...

Post back what you find out about the styling. I'd be interested to see if they're OEM style too. I have the factory flat black flares / molding on my truck and if I don't go with a spray on bedliner lower quarter panel treatment in the next year I may go with a two-tone paint scheme and get painted flares (or paintable EGR flares) to match instead.

BTW, what year is your truck?

Thanks for the feedback. Let us know what you find out when you put yours on. I believe all the NBS trucks have the same fender openings and use the same flares.

how'd it go?

BTW wasnt that album named after code5150 which was supposedly the LA police code for drunk and disorderly?

I haven't received the flares yet. 5150 is the police code for criminally insane. The name for the album was derived from that and Eddie's recording studio. I always new about it being named for the recording studio, but I had no idea about the police code. But I should get the flares sometime next week...I'll post some pics when I get them installed.

I posted some pics of the flares in the picture forum. The paint matches perfectly. One thing though, I had abolutely zero spare parts. EGR actually shorted me by one screw...a**holes! I found one of similar size to use though. There's some rubber stripping that you have to add to the flares, and I had maybe an inch to spare on that. One more foot would have been nice just to be safe. The snap in peices that go along the fender kept falling out during the installation, which was a major PITA. It was well worth it though.

I've been going around in circles debating what I'm going to do with mine (sometime in the next year or three). But that looks even better than I'd imagined it would. Have any pictures from the front and back? (looks like you also did the bumpers?)

Thanks for the pics. :D

Nope, I'm going to get some custom bumpers made so I just sanded off the chrome and painted them black for now. Here's a couple of more to give you an idea. I love it.
