K&N FIPK suggestions

I just installed my K&N FIPK on my 04 5.3 and having a hard time keeping the plastic tube "tight" on the intake with the clamp and hardware K&N provides. Does anyone have any suggestions or pictures of how you did it? Mine slipped off last night (luckily it was only a 5 mile drive, but long enough for the check engine light to come on). Thanks for the help.

I initialy had similar problems with mine. First, the intake tube kept collapsing in and loosening the clamp. I used a heat gun to reshape the plastic by pushing it outward. That allowed me to securely clamp the rubber to the intake. Then attach the rubber to the throttle body. Once it is on, I make sure it is good and tight. Since using this method, I've never had it come loose. I also check at every fill up when I check oil.

I think I have solved this by placing 2 clamps on each end, something the directions didn't tell me to do. I'm hoping it stays tight, but as usual, will check it every so often!
