Does a 2000 2500HD have a 4l80e trans- anyone know?

IN 2000, a 2500 truck is either a NBS or OBS. The HD version is the OBS (old body style). Either way the tranny would be a 4L80E.

He is asking about my truck, I figured it had the 4L80E because of the really low first gear. My truck is the NBS also.

in 2000 all 2500s obs and nbs had a 4L80E as the duramax/8.1 wasn't available yet. All of the obs trucks had a 4L80E in 2000 as only 3/4 and 1 ton trucks were available.
