4.3 having start probs in full size

on some of the 4.3 mostly on full size trucks people say they seem to run funny or have problems starting. well gm had routed the ac hose form the acompressor behind the t-body witch is right over your distributor, when you use your ac the hose condensates and drips causing the distributor to get wet, so we end up replacing the following.....

cap, rotor and this foam peice witch covers over this hose and i guess its to stop from water getting to the distributor. i belive this only applys to the new 03 and up models but i could be wrong.

It started way before the 03's, my wife's truck is a 2001 with the 4.3, and it had the same issues, GM has known about this problem for several years.

There is a recall for this problem. GM refunded $220 to me that I paid last summer to have the problem fixed, they sent the money pretty quick and apologized. I was pleasently suprised.
