Update: 2003 GMC Stepside

Updates, updates, updates:

Got some new stuff on the old truck. New Denali front end, new centerline wheels 20's chrome, sidesteps billet painted black, chrome tailgate handle, rear anti-sway bar, and finaly a flowmaster 40 series muffler with turndown pipe before the rear diff, and some nitto tires.

I also had my transmission worked on a few months ago, rebuilt with more clutch plates and some corvette parts. Also finaly got my d**n center console finished.

Looks great! I've been looking for an exhaust mod but can't decide on just muffler or a cat back system. How is the cab noise w/the turndowns?

Its a little louder cause I went with a flowmaster 40 series. But I love the sound. Now that you can hear much with the stereo cranked up. The turn down pipe goes right before the rear diff. Very swanky. I am looking at doning some dynamat in the future this summer. So it shouldnt be a problem after that.

Also what method did you use to paint the sidesteps?

the paint shop used regular paint and mixed it with some compound to make it flexable or something. All I know for sure is that they did an awesome job, and it shows off better than stock by FAR!

I will take some tonight....hope I remember how to work that camera. I added a factory Denali 2002 center console to my 2003 gmc truck. I still have some holes to fill but I have some electronic gagets that will flip the bill nicely. Be getting them soon after I save up some moola...
