Sorry about the lost thread...   It is still there but you have to look for it.  I found it by checking your profile and your last post.

The cab corners rusting is a common problem on the late '80's body style truck.  A local body shop should be familiar with the problem and should be able to give a decent idea as to what it would take to replace them.  Whitney's price is ?.95 per side.

driverside part # :  07PD6788X

Passangers side # :  07PD6822U

The old cab corner will have to be cut out and then the new ones welded into place.  Probably a little bondo and sanding and blending, then primer and paint.
