How do you remove the back seat?

I noticed that some of you guys have mounted your subwoofer amplifiers behind the upper section of the back seat.

 

Is it difficult to remove the back seat? How do you do it?

 

There are loops sticking out of the top of the back seat, do I need to pull on these to release some seat mechanism? Or does everything unbolt from below?

mines a 2000, but i would think it is the same. you need to unbolt from below. there are 4 total. once those are off, you need to lift the seat up (and off the hook2 behind the seat) and out. pay attention to the rubber on these hooks cause the seat will rattle like mad without them...

Those cloth loops that are sticking up are for child safety seats. If you don't use them, you can remove them while you have the seat out. Clean up the look of your interior a bit. Just keep them in case you ever need to put them back.
