Another 2005 question

On my 2003 Silverado SS I had two remote fobs numbered 1 and 2. When properly programmed I would unlock the truck with the number 1 fob and all of my settings(specifically the seat) were set to the #1 driver.

 

For some reason on my 2005 GMC SLT CC/SB it doesn't seem to function the same, should it? Or is it back to the old way where you had to hit the driver 1 button when you open the door?

I just traded my 03 SS on a 05 Sierra Denali and have been wondering this same question. I did some looking around and it looks like GM deleted this feature on the 05's, you have to manually push #1 or #2 on the drivers door. Kinda odd that GM would delete this programing.

 

I'm wondering if there is a moduel you can buy, or some reprograming you can do to make the memory recall function like it did on the previous years? Anyone know?
