sticky gas pedal

Is there a way to lube the gas pedal - mine sticks a little when you first press on it and when I pull out it makes the truck jerk. Works fine any other time.

There is a TSB on that to replace the throttle body.  http://www.geocities.com/crackeregg/00-06-04-007B.html

The dealer performed it on my '99 and it hasn't done it since.

Yep, definalty throttle body sticking. Had mine replaced in my 2000, works great now

Same here. I had the one replace on my 99 Sierra. Solved the problem.

its possible that the throttle intake area just needs to be cleaned. carb spray cleaner works. spray in the intake area of the throttle body and wipe with a rag. carbon build up causes the same problem.

Same thing happened here.Throttle body was replaced and it works good now. You can look at the throttle body and see if has been replaced. It will obviously look new.
