Denali Halo headlights install - need input !!!

I just bought some Halo projector headlights, and installed them See photo down below. I installed them so they automatically turn on the Halos with the DRLs, but it doesn't make sense. the DRLs are running when it is bright out, and then you cannot see the halos anyway. Maybe they should be running with the foglights instead? Also, anyone made the DRLs turn on with the foglight? I am thinking about it... Maybe throw in a higher wattage fog/Drl to help night vision? I completed the low-beam/high beam mod...so I get some help already.

 

All input is appreciated. BTW, I have my old stock Headlights for a Denali '05, probably fits all GMC/GM trucks/SUVs from 00-05, my stock corners lights, and my recently bought clear corner lights. I am just about to sell it. What is it worth?
