on my o4 burb 5.3, whats inside that factory air tube ?

Just wondering how restrictive it realy is?

Nothings inside,Its the way its bent and shaped and with the silencer thats molded in it that makes it restrictive.

Check out my post with the intake shoot out. I think the real killer is the rubber couplers that make a huge lip inside the tube at two different places that really hurts the power.

 

MS, I didn't think the resonance chamber hurt anything- most of the plastic aftermarkets have them too. The Volant did, as does the aFe. I thought it just helped silence the intake a bit.
